26 May 2021 Ithmaar Bank launches special financing offers for Danaat Al Baraka villas

MANAMA, BAHRAIN – 26 May 2021 – Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, announced the launch of special financing offers for villas at the Danaat Al Baraka development located in Jannusan, Budaiya.

The special financing offers are designed exclusively for beneficiaries of the Mazaya programme, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s social housing scheme that aims to help eligible nationals buy their first homes.

11 May 2021 Ithmaar Bank announces first quarter profits, continues customer-focused growth

MANAMA, BAHRAIN – 11 May 2021 – Ithmaar Bank B.S.C. (closed), a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, reported a profit for the three-month period ended 31 March 2021, and said it continues to focus on further enhancing its customers’ Islamic banking experience.

The announcement, by Ithmaar Bank Chairman His Royal Highness Prince Amr Al Faisal, follows the review and approval of the Board of Directors of the Bank’s consolidated financial results for the period.

MANAMA, BAHRAIN – 20 April 2021 – Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, announced today (ed note 20/04/21) that its Head of Human Resources has earned the highest-level degree offered by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Ithmaar Bank Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed Abdul Rahim, congratulated Enas Rahimi on the achievement and wished her continued success with her career.

18 Apr 2021 Ithmaar Bank and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf launch monthly payment project for the "Zakat and Sadaqat Fund"

MANAMA, BAHRAIN – 18 April 2021 –Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, announced that is has started collaborating with the Zakat and Sadaqat Fund of Bahrain’s Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf to streamline Zakat and Sadaqat monthly payments in the Kingdom.
The collaboration will allow the Bank’s customers to easily pay Zakat and Sadaqat directly into the Ministry’s Zakat and Sadaqat Fund. The transfers can be completed through standing orders, direct debit or online transfers as part of the monthly payment project.

11 Apr 2021 Ithmaar Bank announces two Thimaar quarterly winners worth USD100000 each

MANAMA, BAHRAIN – 10 April 2021 – Ithmaar Bank, a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, announced today that two Bahraini’s, Rashed Dheyab Al Romaihi, father of four and Fahad Mohamed Abdulla, father of four, each won US$100,000 as part of Thimaar quarterly prizes.
The Thimaar Grand Prize draw was held remotely at the Bank’s headquarters in Seef district and was coordinated and supervised by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOICT), as well as external auditors BDO Bahrain and the Bank’s own internal auditors.
